Becoming a first time mother in 2014, Chelsea, working began with ideas of identity, through our perceptions in the virtual world. She explores its affects on our social interactions, religious ideologies and self-identification. Our constant encounters with media and technology have created a cultural interplay between living life in and out of the digital realm. Chelsea expresses this through a small scale body of work involving drawings, prints, paintings, and installation that satirise our past, critically dissect our present, and ponder about the future and where we could possibly be transcending ourselves. Chelsea is exploring ideas of identity through her own stage of flux.
