this is a body of work in progress through research. these short film studies correlate to a series of creative exchange conversations and readings with the artist Eamon O’Kane in 2020.
folding worlds looks and the ecology of humans and the relationships we have with storytelling and mythology to understand the world we live in. these extended the knowledge and learning of those that have come before us, today with the integration of myth, science, and learned knowledge we can create new myths and folding worlds for our creative consciousness to use in understanding our vast and fluctuating world
Helium Arts commissioned me to apply the concepts of the Folding Worlds and the outcomes of these conversations into a creative tool for use in out patient hospital spaces within the practice of their Health Hubs.
Through the Creative Health Hub Programmes in Limerick, I designed creative exploration a pack for Helium, as a way of pivoting their work in the hospital during Covid, when/if the artist can’t be present for the children.
